Mill Valley

In the heart of Mill Valley's cosmopolitan downtown area is The Mill Valley Depot – a city owned bookstore and coffee shop – proof of how seriously this city takes its books and coffee and outdoor enjoyment of both. A nice stopping point to take in the local color. Local shops, restaurants, movie theater, and the delicious Mill Valley Market make up the downtown plaza.

Getting the gist of housing in Mill Valley is difficult since there are so many different kinds of homes and neighborhoods.   Many people like Mill Valley because of its diverse and busy downtown, and it’s close-in commute. But do keep in mind that you’re still close enough to the Pacific here that the fog hangs in here after it’s cleared just north in Corte Madera.
